Projects Overview

Tampa Bay Next is a series of projects about regional connectivity and addressing traffic congestion. Tampa Bay depends on interstate mobility and reliable travel times. Our interstate system provides:
  • Basic access to essential services such as public safety, healthcare, employment and educational opportunities
  • Mobility necessary to emergency situations such as hurricane evacuations and national defense
  • Freight mobility necessary to our local, regional, and national economy
