The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) Tampa Bay Next program is continuing to engage with the community. As part of the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements Project, FDOT identified locations that can be activated as community spaces. These spaces will be maintained by the City of Tampa.

At previous outreach meetings and through an online survey, the community identified dog parks as a preferred use at all of the community space locations that will be constructed as part of the project.

Tampa Bay Next is seeking additional feedback for a secondary feature at each location to enhance communities. The final layout of the community spaces will be completed by the contractor as they finalize the design plans.

Please share your feedback…Polling is open through February 5, 2023.
